On Friday November 19, 2021 at approximately 12:40AM Klamath County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the area of Modoc Point Rd and Toqua Road near Chiloquin for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
Upon their arrival deputies, along with EMS personnel from Chiloquin Fire & Rescue, discovered a small passenger vehicle crashed into a cow that was in the road. The driver of the vehicle, David Eugene Pelton, 57 of Chiloquin, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
