July 25, 2024, KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – After a nationwide search, KBBH is thrilled to welcome Dr. Ramos, a highly esteemed psychiatrist, to our behavioral healthcare community. With an impressive resume spanning over two decades of experience in diverse psychiatric settings, Dr. Ramos is set to make a significant impact on mental health care in our area.

Dr. Ramos brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from her previous roles at prominent institutions such as the Hawaii State Hospital and Community Mental Health Centers – branches of the State of Hawaii Department of Health, Veterans Affairs Health Care System in California and the Pacific Islands, Philadelphia Prisons System, and Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons in Honolulu and Washington, D.C.

Her extensive background includes providing psychiatric services in community mental health clinics, managing inpatient units, implementing and coordinating nationwide telepsychiatry services, and delivering integrated healthcare in a collaborative setting. She has a proven track record of providing top-notch psychiatric services, managing interdisciplinary teams, and advocating for the mental well-being of her patients.


Dr. Ramos is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds medical licenses in Hawaii, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Oregon. Her dedication to excellence in psychiatric care is further exemplified by numerous awards, including Warden Letters of Commendation from the Federal Detention Center in Honolulu.

I am passionate about mental health advocacy and am eager to serve in the dual role as Medical Director at KBBH.”
