Fire Update – South-Central Oregon Fire Management Partnership

The South-Central Oregon Fire Management Partnership (SCOFMP) has responded to 18 confirmed fire starts today.  Most of these fires are now 100% lined, with mop-up completed and in patrol status.

Today’s thunderstorms produced abundant lightning, contributing to the increased number of fire starts across the region.  With more storms possible this evening and overnight, holdover fires may emerge in the coming days as weather conditions dry out and temperatures rise.

Fire Updates:

BlackCanyonFire – Now 90% contained. Fire crews continue mop-up operations and are working toward full containment.

BowersBridgeFire – 100% contained. No further growth is expected.

Crane Mountain Fires – All three fires are now 100% lined, mop-up is complete, and they are in patrol status. #ChurchFire #KellyCreekFire

Fire Crews remain on duty and will continue to actively engage in suppression efforts across all active wildfires. Crews are also prepared to respond to any new starts as conditions evolve.
