Around 3am on 4-20-18 City Police Officers were investigating some suspicious activity in a neighborhood just north of Fred Meyer.
A white Toyota pickup fled an officer and crashed in front of 1022 Merryman. Missing the house by no more than an inch according to police.
One person was detained and arrested. Name and charges not released yet. At least one other suspect is believed to have fled the crash scene.
A short time later police responded to a burglary in progress at a house on Allendale nearby. Someone could see an intruder in their garage at that location. The suspect in the garage fled the scene and police are still looking for him. There is a possibility he is still hiding in the area.
