Police now have the female suspect in custody after a several hour manhunt in the Modoc Point area. The female is reported to have fled the scene after a officer involved shooting a few hours ago. The shooting occurred near Highway 97 milepost 258.
One witness in the area reported that they found the suspect hiding in a shed.
