CAMERON’S QUILT: Key Club members at Henley High School spent their holiday break making a special Christmas quilt for senior classmate Cameron Caldwell, who is undergoing chemotherapy for osteosarcoma at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland. About 15 Henley seniors donated shirts from different teams and clubs for the quilt, which was made by Key Club members. It was delivered to Cameron this week.
Caldwell is one of four Henley Complex students battling cancer, and students have been working to support those students and their families, said Jack Lee, principal at Henley High School. “Students have taken it upon themselves to try to help,” he said.
