The International Space Station will make a bright pass over Klamath Falls tonight and also on Thursday evening. As long as the clouds and fog stay clear, these will be excellent sighting opportunities.
We also recently learned of a new interactive tour of the ISS you can take with a computer. This tour also features “video stops” along the way to learn more about the features onboard the station.

The following passes near Klamath Falls are forecast to be nearly magnitude -4.0 to -3.7 which are extremely bright. Also combined with drying air locally, this should be a very good time to see it. The ISS travels at about 17,150mph at an orbit height of about 254 miles above earth. Experiments have proven that time passes slightly slower on the ISS than here on earth!
