On July 21, 2019 at approximately 1025 hrs, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety received a report of shots fired at the Parkway Christian Center at 229 NE Beacon Dr. The gunshots are believed to have come from a vehicle driving by, and were aimed at the church, striking a window and a tree. Service was in session at the time of the incident, but there were no injuries reported.
