#HarrietteFire – Progress continues today on the Harriette Fire. Crews are still picking up smokes in the interior of the fire today, and dealing with rolling material and snags. The difficult terrain has made it almost impossible for firefighters to access all the problem areas of the fire. Containment still stands at 75% and may remain at that level until inaccessible snags have been able to burn out.

The fire will continue to be staffed through Sunday with a 20 person crew. A type 2 helicopter will be available on standby. Interior smokes may continue to be visible on the fire for several days. The fire will be monitored daily. Trails in the area remain open but forest visitors are reminded that there are still active fire operations in the area.

This will be the last report unless there is significant change.
