Significant snow accumulation is expected over the Cascades during the next 24 hours. If you plan to travel through the Cascades today, plan for difficult driving conditions. Snow levels will hover around 3000 feet all day before the snow levels fall down to 1000 feet tonight.
As you can see in the graphic, we’re expecting under 1 inch of snow in many of valleys west of the Cascades later tonight. East of the Cascades, we’re expecting 2 to 3 inches with higher totals in the Warner mountains.
