A 4.7 quake occurred this morning around 7:34am off the coast of Bandon. The USGS says the quake was about 123 miles west of Bandon and had a depth of about 6.2 miles. There are no reports this quake was felt and it is in the “light” category. The quake happened in an area of recent activity in the last year.
