A Dorris, CA man was injured in a roll over crash south of Klamath Falls on Highway 97 yesterday morning.
On Friday, February 14th, 2020, at approximately 8:22 a.m., Oregon State Police Troopers responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Highway 97 near milepost 283. The driver fell asleep while driving and went off the road according to Oregon State Police. The vehicle rolled several times causing significant injuries to the driver. The driver was extricated from the pickup by emergency responders.
Oregon State Police, Klamath County Fire District 1, and Kingsley Fire responded to the scene. The accident location was just south of Cross Road on Highway 97. The driver was a man from Dorris in his 60’s. He was transported to Sky Lakes by ambulance with significant injuries.
