A developing high pressure system and surface thermal trough will bring very warm temperatures to Klamath Falls this weekend. The heat will be short lived as a strong low pressure system arrives Monday. Forecast models are showing a prolonged period of unsettled weather with snow levels dropping to around 5,000 feet.
Projected highs in Klamath Falls:
Friday: 81F
Saturday: 82F
Sunday: 80F
Monday: 67F – Slight chance of rain

The low pressure system next week could provide some much needed precipitation to the region according to the NWS Medford. Water temperatures are still very cold so use caution if playing in the outdoors in a lake or stream.
