La Pine, OR: Search and Rescue teams from Klamath, Deschutes, and possibly Jackson County are now engaged in an active search for 3 year old Nolan Erion, who is reported to have wandered away from a location on private property where the family was camping last night.

Lori Tisdale of Salem (who is a close friend of the family) told Klamath Alerts this morning that the family is requesting the community be in prayer for Nolan and that he will be found soon. The family had been camping on private property in the La Pine area when Nolan wandered from camp last night. Lori told us that thermal imaging drones are now being deployed this morning to aid in the search.

On Friday July 17, 2020 at approximately 8:30PM Klamath County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Klamath County Search and Rescue teams were deployed to an area northeast of Gilchrist in search of a 3-year-old boy who was lost while camping with family in the area.

Search and Rescue teams from Deschutes County, Crook County, Jefferson County, Lake County, Jackson County, Siskiyou County as well as air and ground resources from Oregon Air National Guard, Oregon State Police, US Forest Service, and Bureau of Land Management have quickly mobilized and deployed to the area.

Searchers are utilizing all the tools at their disposal in the effort including, K9 Teams, Drones, Man Tracking, and Horseback searchers.

Update: Nolan has been found safe by SAR
