On August 29, 2020, at approximately 4:35 P.M., an Oregon State Police Trooper stopped a black Chevrolet Malibu northbound on US 97 near Klamath Falls for following too close. During the traffic stop, the Trooper conducted a consent search of the vehicle. During the search, approximately 25 pounds of suspected methamphetamine was located concealed in the vehicle. The methamphetamine had an estimated street value of $100,000.00. The driver, identified as Saul Espinoza-Avalos (27) from Porterville, California, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Delivery of
Methamphetamine.
