KLAMATH FALLS, OR – July 2, 2021 There are several upcoming events in the City of Klamath Falls as follows:

4th of July Parade:

The 4th of July parade will once again be held downtown this year. The parade itself will begin at noon and last about an hour. Traffic control will start to be set up at 10:30 AM and is expected to be removed by 1:30 PM. During this time period Main Street will be closed from Spring Street to Center Street. The parade participants will then utilize Center Street as the route to Veterans Park for disbanding.

Farmer’s Market – Saturday, July 3:

Local growers, producers and artisans gather to provide fresh locally grown produce, bakery goods, and fine artisan handicrafts to our community. The vendors are local farmers, ranchers, friends and neighbors. The spacious market takes place every Saturday from 9 AM to 1:30 PM through October 30th. All of 9th Street and the 9th Street parking lot are closed during this event.

Ross Ragland KIDZ Fair – Saturday, July 3:

The Ross Ragland Theater and Pacific Power present the Ragland KIDZ Fair over the 4th of July weekend on Saturday, July 3rd from 11 AM – 3 PM. Arts, crafts, local cultural presentations, games and live performances from the cast of the summer musical ”Pirates of Penzance!” Tickets $3 entry for children and adults (includes 5 carnival tickets for games) *Must have a wristband to enter! Purchase tickets and pay entry fee at the box office – 218 N 7th Street.

STREET MAINTENANCE:

Streets Division crews will be performing work July 6th through July 9th during the hours of 12:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. as follows:

Asphalt Crew will be performing crack sealing operations at the following locations:

  • 7/6 – South 6th St. from Adams St. to Austin St. east bound lanes. (12:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.) & East Main St. from South 6th St. to Main St. (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.)
  • 7/7 – South 6th St. from Austin St. to Adams St. west bound lanes. (12:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.) & East Main St. from Main St. to South 6th St. (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.)
  • 7/8 – Eldorado Blvd. from Crater lake Parkway to Daggett Ave.

Paint Crew will be performing painting of crosswalks, parking Ts and legends at the following locations:

  • 7/6 – 7/9 Shasta Way from South 6th St. to Austin St., the Plaza area between Austin St. and Avalon St. and Washburn Way

Sign maintenance and sweeping will be performed 7/6 – 7/9 throughout the City as needed.

Detours and signage will be in place where needed.
