JCSO and Klamath County Search and Rescue started searching for Elijah Manns last night and are continuing today. He was last seen hiking north from Brown Mountain Shelter in Southern Oregon. If anyone has seen him anytime since the morning of July 25th, please call 541-864-8830.

ORIGINAL POST: MISSING 17-YEAR OLD hiking through on PCT trail north from Mexico to Canada. Elijah Manns was last seen by his father hiking North at Brown Mountain shelter in Southern Oregon with instructions to meet up at HWY 140 in the Fish Lake Area. Elijah has been missing for over 24 hours. He was last seen wearing the clothing pictured here. If anyone has seen him anytime since the morning of July 25th, please call 911.

If he has a dog, rewalk the trail beginning at the Brown Mt. cabin with the dog. The PCT crosses Highway 140 between Lake of the Woods and Fish Lake. He probably got confused when the trail was going North to Highway 140. Fish Lake is West of the PCT and it may not be well marked as to where to go to Fish Lake.
