Individuals who self-admit, who are in the custody of law enforcement for public intoxication or are in the care of Sky Lakes Medical Center for alcohol intoxication will be offered a secure and supervised environment to voluntarily sober.Discharge planning will give clients the opportunity to engage in substance use disorder services, and they’ll receive information and referrals to a variety of treatment options to support ongoing engagement.
Sobering services will support individual and community safety, ease the burden on the Klamath County Jail, reduce visits to the Sky Lakes Emergency Department for intoxication, and offer individuals the opportunity to engage in a plan for recovery.
The sobering portion of The Link Access Center contains five adult units and is open now to provide safe, temporary lodging 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
