On Monday, March 14th, 2022, deputies from the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office responded to 8400 Hill Road, on a report of a suspicious activity noticed around the residence.

While enroute, deputies spoke to a neighbor who reported that that she had been keeping an eye on the residence as the homeowner was out of town. She told responding deputies that earlier in the day, she noticed suspicious activity that lead her to believe and unknown person or persons were unlawfully inside the residence.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found all the doors to the residence to be locked, however, were able to see someone inside, later identified as, 35-year-old, Johnathon Robertson. Deputies spoke to Robertson as he was inside the residence, but he refused to come out of the residence.


The homeowner authorized deputies to force entry into the residence and Johnathon Robertson was taken into custody without further incident. At the conclusion of the investigation, Johnathon Robertson was lodged at the Klamath County Jail where he was charged with Burglary I.
