Local historical landmarks visible is satellite photos will be examined in a presentation before the Klamath County Historical Society at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at the Klamath County Museum, 1451 Main St.
“Klamath History as seen on Google Earth, Part II” will be presented by Klamath County Museum Director Todd Kepple, who will use photos and maps to point out sites around the Basin where human activity a century or more ago left marks on the land that can be seen in satellite images.
Among the features to be highlighted are rock fences constructed in the 1800s.
