A strong front will bring gusty winds across much of the forecast area Wednesday. Gusts to 45 mph are expected in most of the forecast area. Thunderstorms are possible for most areas in Southern Oregon and Northern California, and these will cause periods of gusty winds. A chance (20-30%) for thunderstorms is expected Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening from the coast to the Cascades and into Northern Klamath County. Some of these storms may be strong, especially for areas near and along the coast, where there is a low risk (5%) that storms may produce severe hail and/or wind gusts.
