Klamath Falls, OR – City of Klamath Falls Water Division will begin “Water Distribution Main Flushing” starting Tuesday September 6th, 2022, through Friday September 9th, 2022. Water main flushing will take place in the Stewart Lenox subdivision, between the hours of 8 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. The purpose of the “Water Main Flushing Program” is to improve drinking water quality for residents and businesses. For more information, contact the City’s Public Works Department at (541) 883-5363.
The flushing process may cause discolored water and a reduction in pressure. The discoloration of the water will be temporary and is not harmful. Please check tap water for discoloration before starting laundry. If water appears cloudy, only cold-water faucets should be run until the water clears. If the condition persists, please contact our Public Works office.
