On 03/02/23 at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of the 500 block of Main Street on a report of criminal mischief complaint regarding graffiti being spray painted on several items in the area. Throughout the course of the investigation from last night and today, it has been determined several juvenile males are responsible for thousands of dollars worth of damage to both property and vehicles, consisting of at least twenty separate victims. The majority of the incidents took place in the downtown area, 9th Street and around Klamath Union High School, and in the area of the President Streets.

During the course of this investigation, we have found some surveillance video footage of the possible suspects in the area during the commission of these crimes. Unfortunately, we are unable to post any videos or photographs of the responsible subjects as they are believed to be juveniles. One juvenile has been arrested, however, is not cooperating at this time. We are asking community members who live in these areas to please check their surveillance cameras, and if you have any captured footage or information to help identify the additional suspects, please notify us at your earliest convenience.

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information is encouraged to call the Klamath Falls Police Department at (541) 883-5336 or the anonymous tip line at (541) 883-5334.
