On August 4, 2023, at approximately 7:53 A.M., the Klamath Falls Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Crater Lake Parkway and Eberlein Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle collision with reported injuries.
Upon arrival, officers located Dylan Radford, age 30, lying in the roadway suffering from significant injuries. The officers immediately provided medical aid. Due to the severity of Mr. Radford condition, he was taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center by ambulance, where he succumbed to his injuries.
An investigation into the accident determined Mr. Radford was riding a 2019 Kawasaki EX650 motorcycle southbound on Crater Lake Parkway at a high rate of speed. The operator of the 2017 Toyota Tacoma was traveling northbound on Crater Lake Parkway, attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Eberlein Avenue. Mr. Radford changed from the right-hand lane to the left-hand lane causing him to collide with the front of the Tacoma.
