Watch aircraft take flight from the home of the Hughes Flying Boat, the Spruce Goose! 

McMinnville, Ore.For the third year, the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is excited to host an Oregon International Air Show Watch Party, September 29 – October 1. With an incredible view of the McMinnville Airport, the Museum Watch Party provides is an all-encompassing aircraft experience, where guests can see planes up close with Museum admission, while also watching them fly from across the highway, along with food and beverage purveyors. 

The 2023 Air Show will feature star performers the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, known for their complicated flight formations and maneuvers, providing a breath-taking experience for guests each day. A perk of attending the Museum Watch Party is exploring exhibits like F-15 Eagle, which is one of nearly a dozen planes performing demonstrations throughout the weekend. 

To heighten the fun, a double-feature of the Top Gun franchise will play on the Museum’s Giant Screen Theater.  Top Gun will play at 10 am, before the Air Show begins, and Top Gun: Maverick at 6 pm, after the Air Show. 


The Museum Watch Party seating is first come, first served, located on the south lawn outside of the Theater Building and Space Museum. Museum Members have access to a reserved seating area with one of the best vantage points. One Watch Party pass includes admission to the Museum and Watch Party for up to five people, along with parking. Passes starts at $80 for Friday, $100 for Saturday, and $90 for Sunday. Only 300 passes are available each day, with less than half remaining.
