Parking permit changes are meant to simplify permitting and enforcement and to accommodate additional allday parking within every downtown public parking lot. The 2024 Pelican Pass and Pelican Pass+ cost $80 and $160 annually and may also be purchased quarterly at lesser rates. Downtown public parking under 2Hours will remain free for all users. Individual businesses can contact City Planning for Courtesy Parking Permits which allow free customer parking greater than 2hours. Downtown residents can also contact City Planning for overnight public parking options.

Notice of downtown parking permit changes and Pelican Pass availability was distributed to downtown businesses through annual City Business License renewals. The Downtown Parking  Pelican Pass portion of the City’s website, link here, contains the Pelican Pass Purchase Application, informational flyer, and other related material. 2024 Pelican Pass Permits can be purchased through City Planning by mailing the completed application, inperson, or via phone at 226 S 5th Street or (541)8834950. City Planning staff is available to answer any downtown public parking questions inperson, over the phone, or through email at devservices@klamathfalls.city or businesslicense@klamathfalls.city.

New AllDay parking signs will be placed onstreet and at public parking lot entrances in the nearterm.
