The Klamath County Sheriff’s Office sadly reports a fatal motor vehicle crash occurred on Christmas Eve.
On December 24, 2023 at 4:05pm, emergency service personnel responded to a crash at Summers Lane and Anderson Avenue. A collision occurred on Summers Lane between a southbound car and a westbound car. Initial investigation and witness statements indicate that the westbound car failed to stop for a stop sign on Anderson Avenue at Summers Lane.
Both the driver of the southbound car and the passenger of the westbound car were injured in the crash. The male driver of the westbound car was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Deceased: Caswell Madison Stanton (age 29)
So sad people need to pay attention
I live in that neighborhood and I’ve been calling and complaining about the speed on Anderson. With no help from KKSO I called OSP and they helped for a while and that was that. So sad someone lost there life over a lazy sheriffs department
