KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – All three public museums operated by Klamath County will be open Thursday, July 4.

The Baldwin Hotel Museum, 31 Main St., will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, for free tours of the lobby and mezzanine level.

The Fort Klamath Museum, 51400 Highway 62, will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, with free admission.


The Klamath County Museum, 1451 Main St., will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday. Admission fees will be waived for the Fourth of July.

The Klamath County Museum will also offer free admission during extended hours, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Friday, July 5, as part of its Free First Friday program.

The Klamath County Museum will enter several antique vehicles in the Fourth of July parade in Klamath Falls. The caravan will include a 1942 fire truck that was used for many years on the former Klamath Indian Reservation.
