Paintings by local artist and art instructor Susan Liskey are on display through October in the Klamath County Museum’s Modoc Gallery, 1451 Main St. in Klamath Falls.
A reception for the artist will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.
Liskey studied under several teachers, including local instructors Sharon Rajnus, Larry Johnson and Pam Stoehsler. She also worked with gallery operator George McMahan until his retirement.
She took an acrylics workshop with Hugh Greer, and a pastel class with Maggie Price. She also enrolled in a class with Sharon Latchaw Hirsh at Rosemount College.
Liskey was a partner in the Clearwater Gallery that operated for several years in downtown Klamath Falls. She is a member of the Klamath Art Association and Two Rivers Gallery in Chiloquin.
She does work on commission, offering portraits of people or animals, or favorite landscapes. She offers art classes in the “Farmhouse Studio” at her home, and at the Klamath County Museum.
Admission to the Modoc Gallery is free during regular museum hours, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
