KLAMATH FALLS, OR – A striking and inspiring piece of art has officially been installed at the Southside Bypass Roundabout (intersection of Homedale Rd and OR 140). This magnificent sculpture has been a long-cherished dream, in development since the Fall of 2019, and it is truly wonderful to see it come to such a vibrant reality.

This beautification project was a collaboration between Healthy Klamath, Oregon Department of Transportation, Diversified Contractors Inc, Klamath County, City of Klamath Falls and Sky Lakes, and was managed from ideation to completion by Healthy Klamath Project Manager Kelsey Mueller Wendt.

The centerpiece of the installation is a powerful eagle, expertly designed and crafted by the renowned artist Stefan Savides. It stands proudly at the top of a 10-foot pedestal, representing his largest work to date.

Surrounding this impressive sculpture, the thoughtfully curated landscape design by Four Seasons Landscaping adds to the overall artistry and elegance of the installation. This beautiful addition truly symbolizes Klamath’s dedication to enhancing its public spaces and enriching the local art scene, transforming the roundabout into a true landmark of beauty and pride for our community.
