Klamath Falls Police Arrest Chiloquin Man in Kidnapping and Rape Investigation

On Saturday, September 27th, 2025, the Klamath Falls Police Department was dispatched to Sky Lakes Medical Center regarding a Rape report. When the responding officer arrived at Sky Lakes Medical Center. The officer was informed a female was found distraught, and crying by a passerby in the area of Northern Heights Blvd. The passerby reported on contact with the victim she reported she had been raped. The victim was taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center by the passerby for medical attention.

Based on the nature of the incident, the Klamath Falls Police Department’s detective division assumed the investigation. During the investigation the victim reported a male subject operating a white truck pulled up next to her, stopped, exited the vehicle, and physically picked her up and put her into the truck. The victim reported she attempted to exit the vehicle and when she did the male physically assaulted her, preventing her from escaping.
The victim reported the male then drove her to a secluded location where he sexually assaulted her.

As the investigation progressed, detectives with the Klamath Falls Police Department learned Oregon State Police were investigating a sexual assault case in which the victim provided similar statements and provided the same vehicle description. After an extensive investigation the Oregon State Police identified 41-year-old Donald Larimer of Chiloquin, Oregon as the suspect in their case.

The Oregon State Police provided detectives with the Klamath Falls Police Department, Mr. Larimer’s information. An investigation into Mr. Larimer was conducted by the Klamath Falls Police Department during which Probable Cause for the arrest of Mr. Larimer was developed.

On Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, Donald Larimer was pulled over by an officer with the Klamath Falls Police Department and taken into custody.

Donald Larimer was lodged at the Klamath County Jail on charges of, Kidnap I, Rape I, Unlawful Sexual Penetration I, Sodomy I, and Sex Abuse I.

Currently the Klamath Falls Police Department and Oregon State Police are jointly investigating Mr. Larimer and the investigation is ongoing.
