On Tuesday June 30th, 2026, at around 8:19 pm, deputies from the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 22000 block of Sprague River Rd for the report of two individuals who had been shot by one another. Upon arrival, 40-year-old Jesse Leese was transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center for a single gunshot wound. 46-year-old Summer Swager was also transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center for minor injuries and was later released.
The Klamath County Major Crime Team was activated to further investigate the incident. At this time Summer Swager and 46-year-old Adam Keenan have been lodged at the Klamath County Jail for attempted murder. One suspect is still at large as the investigation continues. This was an isolated incident between parties involved.
The Klamath County Major Crime Team consists of the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office, Klamath Falls City Police, Oregon State Police, and the Klamath County District Attorney’s Office.
