The FBI has now admitted that it failed to follow it’s own protocol for investigating a tip it received in January about Florida shooting suspect Cruz. Someone close to Cruz called the FBI tip line and reported in January of this year that Cruz was demonstrating erratic behavior and making unusual threats to harm people.
