Lost River Jr./Sr. High School is now the home to a seismic monitoring station. This earthquake-measuring device is part of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. Dr. Leland O’Driscoll, Oregon Seismic Network manager at the University of Oregon, taught Lost River students about earthquakes and earthquake monitoring when he installed the device in January.
