rainthunderstorm

A strong cold front will move through the local area Tuesday evening. We should start seeing the affects of it by afternoon tomorrow. The atmosphere will be very unstable in the afternoon and we may see thunderstorms. Up to 1/2 inch of rain is possible and very strong gusty winds should start by late afternoon into the evening. If these thunderstorms develop they could produce damaging winds.

After the front passes our weather will return to a showery pattern with snow and rain mixed. Temperatures will return to the 40’s during the day after the passage of the front.
