A nude male reported to be wearing only a coat walked into a Waffle House in the Nashville area and opened fire on people inside. One of the patrons inside quickly grabbed the gun and wrestled it away from the shooter. The shooter fled the scene on foot.
Early information is that 4 were killed and a total of 8 were injured (some by flying glass) in the incident. A suspect has been developed and police currently have his apartment surrounded. It is unclear if a standoff situation exists, or if police are serving a search warrant on the apartment.
