You may have noticed some construction going on at the old Safeway building on South 6th and Washburn recently. Fueled by evidence of building renovations, rumors are swirling about what new store or stores might be opening there soon.
Klamath Alerts has learned that the old Safeway/Haggen building is being partitioned into three new business spaces. These newly renovated spaces will house the following three new businesses.
Planet Fitness
T.J. Maxx/Marshalls
Natural Grocers
T.J. Maxx and Marshalls are said to be owned by the same company and we are not certain which brand the company will choose to open the new Klamath Falls store with. According to online reports and information we have received, both stores are similar and have the same buyers but offer different product lines.
We are excited about these new businesses coming into town and occupying the long vacant building. They will no doubt bring new life to that area of town.

We believe Planet Fitness will be located in the strip mall close by the old Safeway building and TJ Maxx/Marshalls will share the old Safeway building with Natural Grocers.
