Fire Breaks Out At Jeld-Wen Mill On Lakeport Blvd.
Klamath County Fire District 1 is on scene of a fire at the Jeld-Wen mill on Lakeport Blvd. The fire is in the north side of the north building of the complex.
Crews responded about an hour ago after several reports came into Klamath County 911. The first engine on scene confirmed a structure fire was in progress and that the sprinkler system had been activated. Reports indicate that all employees are accounted for. A recent report by a person close to the scene says that there is virtually no smoke coming from the mill at the present time.
This incident is one of several fires that kept local firemen busy today.
