A driver was struck by a vehicle after being involved in a rear end crash and exiting his vehicle last night on Crater Lake Parkway.
10-14-19 at about 7:19pm (last night) reports of a motor vehicle accident on Crater Lake Parkway near Esplanade were reported to 911. Fire District 1, Klamath Falls City Police, Oregon State Police, and ODOT Incident Response were dispatched to the crash.
According to Klamath Falls Police, a 27 year old man was driving a vehicle in the area of Crater Lake Parkway and Esplanade. He rear ended another vehicle. Without checking for traffic the male exited his vehicle and was struck by an additional vehicle. Evidence located at the scene by police suggests the man was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. As of posting time, no additional information including the name of the man struck has been released. The male was transported to Sky Lakes and was last reported to be in stable but serious condition.
