A couple of storm systems are expected to produce up to 3 feet or more of snow in the higher elevations of the Cascades this weekend. Areas around Diamond Lake and Crater Lake could see a high end amount of 3-4 feet of snow by Monday. Unlike the past several storms that have mostly impacted the Mt. Shasta areas and Northern California, this weekend’s storm should mostly impact the Cascades.

Snow levels are expected to lower as the weekend progresses. Snow levels are expected to be below the Rogue Valley floor by the end of the weekend.

There are several indications of a weather pattern change coming next week. Temperatures could be in the 60’s for the Klamath Falls area and reach into the 70’s in the Rogue Valley by next weekend.
