A new wildfire has started in Klamath County about 4 hours ago. It has quickly grown to an estimated 420 acres at time of this post.
At least 2 air tankers from Erickson Air Tanker and a Chinook helicopter with bucket have been observed working the fire recently.
The fire is near Silver Lake Road and Military Crossing Road in The Klamath Marsh area and was threatening structures earlier.
