Florida Man Behind 100 Million Robo Calls Slapped with $120 Million Fine by FCC


The FCC has voted to issue a fine to the tune of $120 Million to a Florida man. In 2017, the FCC first alleged that Adrian Abramovich made 96 million robocalls during a three-month period in 2016. The commission proposed a $120 million fine but did not finalize it until Thursday.

This action is described as similar to trying to drain the ocean with a teaspoon. There are so many individuals and organizations engaged in scam “robotic calling” Hopefully this will make some people think twice.

If you haven’t already, you can place your landline or mobile number on the national do not call list. Once you are listed, you can report robo calls.
