You may have heard the rumors that are circulating. “La Croix natural carbonated water has roach poison inside.” According to this class action lawsuit filed by Beaumont Costales The La Croix product contains a number of artificial ingredients, including linalool, which is used in cockroach insecticide.

As a fan of the La Croix product, it seems to be a healthy alternative to drinks loaded with sugar and other not so good for you ingredients. But does it contain chemicals that are bad for you?

This article from Popular Science says you may not need to be as worried about La Croix as the lawsuit says. They claim the lawsuit is over labeling and is exaggerating the claim that actual insecticide is inside the drink.

Hopefully some new independent tests will reveal the product is safe.
