Firefighters continue to strengthen and improve containment lines while also holding direct fire lines. Fire suppression repair is on-going to rehabilitate areas affected by suppression efforts and assist with the effects of the forecasted rain. Firefighters continue to patrol, extinguish hot spots, and mitigate hazard trees throughout the fire area. Search and Rescue crews continue to assist the Butte County Sheriff’s Office in the search and recovery operations for missing victims.
