State Trooper Involved In Crash On Lakeshore Drive While Responding To Fatal MVA. K-9 Injured.
An Oregon State Police K-9 Trooper was involved in an injury accident when the trooper collided with a Ford pickup on Lakeshore near Lynnewood while responding to a multi-vehicle traffic accident on Highway 140 West near Running Y.
Immediately after the crash the trooper called for an ambulance to respond code 3 meaning emergency lights and siren.
A Klamath Falls City Police Officer has rushed the State Police K-9 to a local vet. The trooper is reported to have been taken to the hospital for a checkout.
Expect traffic delays on Lakeshore and traffic from the 140W accident is diverting there and there have been reports of speeding traffic. Use caution in the area.
