No Cost NASA Program Allows You To Have Your Name Sent To Mars On 2020 Rover Mission

NASA is allowing the general public to submit your name to be etched onto a small microchip and then placed aboard the spacecraft that is scheduled to travel to Mars September, 2020. This is a great learning opportunity for kids as well. All submitted names are reviewed, approved and then etched onto a microchip. The microchip is placed aboard the Mars 2020 rover, which will land on Mars.

There is no charge and NASA states on the website they will not share your personal information. Also, providing your email address is optional. The website also can inform you of future missions and opportunities. You can even print a “boarding” pass for the mission.
